Start Your Married Life Off Naturally
(ARA) - As you enter this new phase of your life, why not add one more vow to those you've recently taken -- one that will have long-lasting positive benefits. Promise to adopt a nutritious, all natural way of eating. Honor a home in which you and your spouse thrive on certified organic fruits and vegetables, soy products and delicious, all natural alternatives to dairy products.
As more people demand healthy choices at the grocery store, the selection of natural products has never been greater. With a little exploration and some taste-testing at home, you'll find natural alternatives to mainstream brands that will more than satisfy both you and your partner.
Imagine Foods, a health food company in Northern California, has been making all natural best-selling foods since 1982. "It used to be that if something tasted great, it was probably bad for you. And if it resembled cardboard in taste and texture, it was likely all natural. Things have changed a lot since then. Many of our products, our soups in particular, which are organic and dairy-free, are favored over mainstream brands in blind taste-tests time and again. The nutritional value of our products is our number one priority, but if something doesn't taste great, what's the point?" said Robert Nissenbaum, Imagine Foods' president and CEO.
With doctors telling us to lower the amount of saturated fat in our diets, many young married's are replacing dairy milk with non-dairy beverages made from rice or soy. Products like Rice Dream Enriched and Soy Dream Enriched Beverages contain the same amount of calcium and essential vitamins and minerals as dairy milk, but since both are made from vegetarian ingredients (instead of animal), they are dairy- and cholesterol-free and made without artificial colors, flavors, preservatives, hormones or antibiotics. Soy Dream Enriched Beverage has 47 mg of isoflavones, the compounds in soy that have been shown to reduce the risk of coronary heart disease, menopausal symptoms and certain types of cancers.
Most newlyweds are far too busy to make extravagant meals; instead they look for solid nutrition, great taste and convenience. Imagine Organic Soups and Broths are all natural, certified organic, and dairy- and cholesterol-free. They offer convenience, fresh taste and all the benefits you expect from natural foods: they contain no preservatives, MSG or genetically modified ingredients. The soups are heat-and-serve, so they make a great base for recipes that are either quick and easy or fancy enough for guests.
If you've made a commitment to eat more healthfully, it doesn't mean you have to give up dessert. Try Soy Dream Frozen Desserts, which are dairy-free and contain no cholesterol. Best of all, they comes in a variety of decadent flavors and novelties, like the popular Lil Dreamers ice cream sandwiches.
